Over the past nearly 60 years, Aronson has served its people, clients, and community. The firm is passionate about giving back to those who have made this community a wonderful place to do business and live. We do this in a variety of ways.
The Aronson Foundation
In 2004, the firm formally established the Aronson Foundation. Since inception, the Aronson Foundation has donated in excess of $2,300,000 to worthy causes, mostly focused on child and family welfare, education, and veterans’ causes.
Some of these worthy causes include:
- Building Bridges
- Comfort Cases
- Community Reach of Montgomery County
- DC Scores
- Hearts & Homes for Youth
- Second Chance Wildlife Center
- Shelter House
- The Children’s Inn at NIH
Charity of the Month
The Aronson Foundation also partners with team members to support causes that they nominate through Charity of the Month. This Foundation matches contributions made by team members in payroll deductions and other donations. In 2021, Charity of the Month served a number of organizations:
- The Mayfly Project
- Nourish Now
- People Animals Love (PAL)
- World Central Kitchen
- Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
- MS Society of Ohio
- Angelman Syndrome Foundation
- Hope Connections
- Lombardi Cancer Center
- Giving Tuesday
Community Enrichment Program
Aronson’s Community Enrichment Program empowers team members to give back to their individual communities. All team members are given 40 hours a year of paid time off to spend volunteering. In 2021, the firm sponsored food drives for Bread for the City, collected art supplies for Children’s Hospital, collected school supplies for Montgomery Coalition for the Homeless, gathered holiday gifts for the Angel Tree Project, and supported many other worthy causes as part of this program.
Nick Twilley, a Manager in Assurance Services at Aronson, leads the Nourish Now food drive at Aronson. “CEP opportunities have provided me a great way to physically give back to the community, bond with team members outside the office, and step away from client work to come back refreshed,” he said of the program’s impact.
