Aronson Systems recently attended the 2012 Sage Summit. The week-long conference included product updates and enhancements, tips and tricks as well as general business courses. Regardless, of the products or sessions attended, the conference provided valuable information to those who participated. Of particular note to the Construction industry, Sage has paid attention to the economic impact on the industry as a whole and has answered with forward-thinking products that add value in a difficult economy. Sage’s more than 40,000 Construction and Real Estate clients in the next year will see an increased focus on operations functionality, value on the entire building cycle and enhancements to their current products.

Furthermore, Sage also addressed the growing need for technology in the field and better integration across systems. Plans were announced for future releases of Sage’s newest Construction product, Sage Construction Anywhere. A cloud-based system that connects the back office to the field, which is currently available for Sage 300 (formerly Timberline) users, should be available on other CRE products early next year. In addition to new products, numerous product add-ons were available for viewing in the exhibit hall, all falling in line with the trend of connecting a team regardless of their geographical location.
