If it doesn’t challenge you it won’t change you.

As Aronson’s Lead Consulting Partner, Nicole develops strategic solutions that help clients maximize financial results and grow.  She looks ahead to ensure her clients are prepared to turn every next challenge into an opportunity.

Nicole’s experience in public accounting began in January 1998, when she joined Aronson’s Assurance and Tax department to support privately held government contractors. This experience fueled her passion to develop solutions to help clients navigate the complexities of growing a business and position business owners for financial success. Many of Nicole’s clients have grown from start-up to lucrative exit.

Nicole received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Frostburg State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Mount Saint Mary’s College. She is a licensed CPA and holds the CGMA designation. Nicole has an extensive background in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and cost principles related to government contractors, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). With in-depth knowledge of the key financial business systems and compliance risk unique to government contractors, Nicole provides consulting and accounting services in the areas of financial regulatory compliance, contract pricing, and complex cost accounting structures.

Nicole has a personal passion for outdoor activities and volunteering to support causes for veterans and children. Nicole actively supports Girls on the Run, The Veterans Institute for Procurement, USA Swimming, and USA Triathlon Association. When not at work, you can find her working outside on her family’s farm or paddleboarding on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with her husband and their three children. Nicole lives Aronson’s mission each day, providing opportunities for the firm’s people, contributing to the success of her clients, and enriching the community.

Throughout her career at Aronson, Nicole was 2002 employee of the year, 2008 recipient of the “leading by example award,” and a Maryland 2000 top CPA exam score recipient. She also serves as the current Chair of Aronson’s Board of Directors.
