John Ure, J.D., leads Aronson’s Estates, Gifts & Trusts specialty tax practice. As an avid tax law aficionado with degrees in law and accounting, he specializes in developing creative solutions for irregular tax situations and customizing plans to preserve client wealth.

John advises his clientele on a variety of federal and state estate and trust tax compliance and planning matters. He enjoys consulting with clients in creating and following a wealth management and distribution plan to help accomplish their goals both before and after death.

Before working in public accounting, John practiced estate tax law as an attorney. This unique background and perspective allow him to address concerns and issues important to both tax attorneys and accountants.

John is a frequent speaker on estate and income tax issues and regularly authors articles on current estate tax topics. In addition to being a member of several professional organizations, John serves as a scoutmaster for his local Boy Scouts of America troop and has been involved with BSA for over 25 years. He lives with his wife and five active children in Great Falls, VA.
