Bob Bloom, CPA, is a Senior Manager in Aronson’s Nonprofit practice, serving charitable organizations, and associations. Bob has spent the last 20 years working exclusively with not-for-profit organizations and has extensive experience performing financial statement audits, reviews and compilations, and Single Audits under Uniform Guidance. 

He served 10 years as VP of Finance for a government contractor and pharmaceutical software developer, a pharmacy benefit manager and a venture capital fund. Bob has over 12 years’ with the Big 4, where he was responsible for the audits of several of the District’s largest not-for-profits. Bob has made numerous presentations to Boards of Directors as well as an instructor for not-for-profits on subjects such as board governance, nonprofit financial statements, revenue recognition and accounting for investments and endowment funds.  

Bob also volunteers his time on various boards serving as the audit and finance committee chair providing his perspective on the many challenges facing NFPs, such as cash flow, board policy, interim financial reporting, internal controls, cyber risks and the impact of COVID-19 on the current and future environment.
