Michael Yuen is a senior manager in the Estate, Gift and Trust practice of Aronson's Tax Services Group, where he specializes in tax and business consulting. He has over 28 years of experience in federal and state taxation, and his professional career includes three years with a large regional law firm and seven years with "Big Four" public accounting firms in Washington, D.C. His clients include professionals, closely held corporations, technology firms, construction contractors, real estate partnerships, corporations operating in a multistate environment and nonprofit organizations throughout the region.
Michael provides comprehensive financial services that include: estate, gift and trust planning and administration for business owners; financial and retirement planning for executives; U.S. tax compliance and planning for foreign nationals and expatriates; IRS and state tax audit support; and tax exemption applications for nonprofit organizations.
Michael graduated from the Ohio State University with a master's degree. He is an active member of the AICPA, MACPA, and the Estate Planning Journal Club of Suburban Hospital Foundation. In addition, he serves as a board member and audit chair of the Montgomery College Foundation, treasurer and board member of the Monte Jade Science & Technology Association, and chair of the Planned Giving Committee of Montgomery College Foundation. Michael is licensed in Maryland as a Certified Public Accountant and he is also a Certified Financial Planner.
